This was my 1972 Lotus Elan Sprint at track day at Castle Combe. I kept it for a few years but alas it had to go eventually.

Cheetah in Botswana

I was working on the project for Cheetah Botswana and was based in Jwana in a game park that surrounds a huge diamond mine. We were trying to find cheetah fitted with radio collars when this young cheetah came out onto the road in front of us. We had been searching for 4 weeks and eventually they found us. This was the high light of this project.

This picture was taken in 2001 and is of me and a young orphaned cheetah in Kenya. Soon after this picture was taken she was badly wounded by a local farmer who thought she was a wild cheetah.
